A Note from the Pastor

Welcome to the High School Ministries, ProTeens, (grades 9-12) of Lighthouse Baptist Church.  The vision for the High School Ministries starts with the end in mind.  We see students becoming Psalm 91:1  Christians- those who dwell in the secret place abide in the shadow of the Almighty- we envision students demonstrating Christ to their world, their schools, their communities, and in their own personal lives.  Ultimately, we hope to see all of our students become Great Commandment and Great Commission Christians.

The High School Ministries exist to 

• reach non-believing students to accept Jesus as their Savior

• connect them with other Christians

• grow them in their faith

• challenge them to discover their ministry

• honor God with their life

We also believe in spreading God's love to others in our community and around the world.  This means being a servant offering our hearts and bodies to those in need.  Whether it's going to the home of an elderly person and doing yard work, cleaning up the litter on a city street, or singing to a group of neighborhood children, we intend to be ministers of God's love and grace in the best way possible.
